Get ready for a day of all-American fun as the 3rd Annual Oro Valley Classic Car, BBQ and Blues Show Family Festival kicks into gear on March 12, at the Oro Valley Marketplace.
This rain or shine event will feature up to 200 of the best classic and antique cars and trucks as Arizona Judges rate more than 20 classes of antique, classic and muscle cars and trucks, doling out awards for best interior, paint, engine compartment and overall appearance. Awards will be presented, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Class Awards in 20 different categories as well as four "Best of" awards. The awards will be presented at 2:30pm.SAACA's 1st Annual Classic Car Show attracted more than 3,500 visitors and 200 cars. We are expecting an even larger turnout due to the expanded event area at the Oro Valley Marketplace.
Festival-goers not only can take in this parade of steel-and-chrome classics, but they also can rock to golden oldies spun by DJs and groove to the blues belted out by rockin’ bands. Enjoy LIVE Blues Music from Tucson’s “The Bryan Dean Trio. There will be plenty of the best barbecues in the business and other food to fill-up the day.
The 3rd annual Festival will feature Children's activities including free art lessons by Young Rembrandt's, jumping castles, face painting and balloon twisters Attendees can shop at surrounding stores and eat at both local and popular restaurants located at the Marketplace – which is set in the beautiful mountain views of Oro Valley.
Proceeds from the event will benefit SAACA's many arts programs in the community and local schools.
