2015 Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson

Year after year everybody’s favorite classic car show auction the Barrett-Jackson continues to amaze and impress us with their great selection of classic and rare car selection. Let’s face it at $500 just to be a bidder and cars going for millions of dollars, actually buying one of these beauties on 4 wheels is out of the question, but dreaming about it is much cheaper. Buying a twilight ticket can cost as little as $8.00. So for most of us we will just have to stick to dreaming and drooling.

Here is what the 10 biggest sellers went for in last year’s auction

  • 10. 1972 Plymouth Duster Hot Wheels “Mongoose” Funny Car $990,000(There were 3 others that went for the same price)
  • 9. 1939 Alfa Romeo 6c 2500 Sport Touring - $997,500
  • 8. 1954 Plymouth Belmont Concept Car - $1,320,000
  • 7. 2008 Bugatti Veyron - $1,375,000
  • 6. 1929 Duesenber SJ Lebaron Dual Cowl Phaeton - $1,430,000
  • 5. 1963 Shelby Cooper Monaco King Cobra - $1,650,000
  • 4. 1998 Ferrari F300- $1,870,000
  • 3. 1966 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe - $2,090,000
  • 2. 1969 Chevrolet Corvette #57 Rebel Convertible Race Car - $2,860,000
  • 1. 1967 Chevrolet Corvette L88 Coupe - $3,850,000
These are just of few of the cars that sold at last years auction, granted some of the coolest most expensive, but definitely not the only reason to see the auction. Last year there was $113 million in gross sales and nearly 1,400 vehicles sold.
